DING DING - It’s Art Clash - THE EXHIBITION!
We are delighted to announce that Art Clash - THE EXHIBITION - will go ahead on Wednesday the 20th and Thursday the 21st of June thanks to the amazing, and prestigious gallery just off Camden Street; The Copper House Gallery.
On Wednesday the 20th of June Stag&Deer will be conducting a masterclass in independent curation;
This will be a practical, informal, (moderately booze fuelled) and informative workshop in creating, organising and making your very own exhibition happen! This is open to everyone who has ever attended an Art Clash session, and is also open to anyone who hasn’t but is interested in seeing the practicalities of exhibiting your art in an exceptional way. From the Deer’s mouth herself; “If there is anyone coming who hasn’t been an attendee of Art Clash but wishes to learn more about curatorial practise and slack spaces please feel free to come prepared with queries. We’re happy to share the love & advise.
We would also really appreciate it if people had a look at our website and Facebook as it may spring some thoughts / questions worth sharing.”
Stag&Deer will then apply this information by inviting you to bring work you have made over the last 9 weeks of Art Clash to the session with you and on the night, you will actually be placing it on the walls of The Copper House Gallery! (We would ask that those of you who have not yet submitted jpegs of the work you plan to bring to please email them to info@artclash.net.) For those who won’t have work with them, it’s a really fun endeavour to muck in and know how to create and put together an exhibition in practical terms and will give you a good idea of what to expect for season TWO of Art Clash. ***more info on that to follow!
THEN! EXCITINGLY, ON Thursday the 21st of June you will be able to invite friends and family to come view your work in a gallery space whilst enjoying a most deserving gallery exhibited glass of victorious wine!!!
This is an opportunity to apply your creativity to a wall and invite people to drink in your byob mastery, all in lush surroundings with really nice informative people, *suggested circle of back patting optional*!

Tickets: €15 available from the website (www.artclash.net) or from Fanci Schmancy Vintage in Temple Bar or on the door.
What to bring: Any art created at Art Clash over the last 9 weeks, a pen and paper, a digital camera, and a bottle of something bubbly or non bubbly, depending on your preference!
